On Saturday, April 12, former El Camino Real Charter High School standout Cynthia Carrillo’s current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the San Francisco State Gators.

The game took place at SFSU Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Gators this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field against Chico State Wildcats.
