On Friday, March 21, former Sierra Canyon High School Izela Arenas collegiate team won in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament

On Friday, March 21, former Sierra Canyon High School standout Izela Arenas’ current collegiate team the Louisville Cardinals won 63-58 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena, this was the first game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers during the championship.

The Louisville Cardinals’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 6 p.m. in Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena against TCU Horned Frogs.

Izela Arenas’ hometown is Porter Ranch and game position is guard.
