On Friday, March 21 former Sierra Canyon High School Vanessa De Jesus competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Friday, March 21, former Sierra Canyon High School standout Vanessa De Jesus’ current collegiate team the Duke Blue Devils won 86-25 against the Lehigh Mountain Hawks in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Cameron Indoor Stadium, this was the first game against the Lehigh Mountain Hawks during the championship.

The Duke Blue Devils’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 12 p.m. in Cameron Indoor Stadium against Oregon Ducks.

Vanessa De Jesus’ hometown is Valencia and game position is guard.
